During my latest performance review my manager had the nerve to say “you’re doing your job well, but sometimes you don’t do certain things… is it that you forget?” I’m a team of one, supporting over 100 employees and you keep asking me to do things that are ineffective, low priority, or oppose our strategy. No I don’t forget to do these things, I simply choose not to…. Yes Blind, I did tell him why I wasn’t doing everything he asked… at least he was a bit reasonable, but still, wtf. Am I being unreasonable by being so annoyed with him for this?
Nah you’re not being unreasonable. But it sucks because these managers are so out of touch with their teams sometimes that they only see what you don’t do. I always say act your wage 😂
