Supercharge the journey: entry-level Frontend/React Dev

Howdy friends, I'm currently on a career transition journey, aiming to become a Developer. Age is 27 and live in NY. Please bear with me. I've been diligently studying HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ReactJS to sharpen my skills. I've dedicated time to building several mini projects to showcase my abilities. For example, I developed an app using React Router v6, where users can explore a collection of cool looking travel cars(just pulling data from an API). The app allows for convenient filtering and provides a personal dashboard for renting and managing cars, even though the rent/buy buttons are purely decorative after logging in. Currently, I'm honing my skills by working on an app that generates movie title, images, synopses, and cast information based on users' movie idea using openAI APIs. Also made a simple chatbot app using ChatGPT model. With AI being a trend, I felt it would be cool to gain some experience working with their APIs. Despite the progress I've made, finding an entry level job has been challenging. The requirements for a simple entry position don't feel all that "entry level." I'd greatly appreciate any advice or tips you can offer to improve my chances of securing a developer position. Whether it's regarding job search strategies, improving my portfolio, or networking opportunities. Thank you in advance for your support, and I look forward to learning! #tech #jobhunt #careerbuilder #openai
