Making it sound like Big Tech is evil for putting a feature out there which is so obvious and braindead and yet it managed to kill your cutting edge AI startup - probably called ChatPDF AI or Extract AI or some shit.

Dumb idea is not fatal. Bad execution is.
Maybe dumb is not the right word. Lazy is the word I should have used. If your startup idea is so low-effort, whether it’s dumb or not, it will get disrupted and blown up easily. Either by OpenAI or someone else
The Idea really does not matter. When you have made it work it will not dumb or lazy anymore.

But that might kill the good startups too. I was specifically talking about startups with stupid ideas and moat to speak of
