VMware SMTS salary expectations
Hello Community, I am expecting offer from VMware for SMTS. I hold 8 years of experience. What TC should I be expecting? Please suggest how to negotiate on [Base/Stocks/JB] based on below competing offer Competing offer from OCI: Base: 41 Lakhs JB: 6 + 6 Lakhs for 2 years Stocks: 25 Lakhs per year Total CTC: 72 LPA for first 2 years YOE: 8 years Current CTC: 24 LPA #vmware #vmwaresalary #vmwarebase
Base can go upto 45. Not sure if they can match OCI stocks. VMware is miles ahead of OCI in terms of wlb though. Remote work is also allowed.
What position being offered in OCI ?

VMware might give you till 70 max overall. I am also holding an SMTS offer from them but going to decline it anyway.
Highest SMTS offer I have seen on blind is 65-70L which basically goes into Staff-1 range. Depends on how much they need you
