Looking for a Amazon girl to date in Arlington, Virginia
Hey folks. Got an offer and can choose between PM II and PM III, which one would you recommend going for? Would be curious to hear from current PMs at EG in particular but anyone else please share thoughts too. Background: MBA with 1Y startup experience, 6Y of advisory/consulting pre-MBA. TC: 110k (equity: kinda 0 now due to early stage) #pm #product #productmanager #expedia
Yikes tc 110? Did you go to a univ of phoenix mba for $200?
Top10 lol
Are you currently doing product at a VC/PE firm? I feel like most financial services pays poorly lol, except some well funded fintechs. Also, my Top10 B-school just released career outcomes and the mean is just $140s, bummed more of my fellow MBAs didn’t choose to do tech. 🤡
Should choose the higher title. What team would you be joining, out of curiosity?
That's also TBD, I'll be having a few team matching convos with different HMs
is EG offering 110 TC?
No, that's current
I am not a PM but same level as PM II (level K). Level K is pre-mba by 2 levels….
Lol, what have I read. What a weak line of thinking Op. Obviously get the one with better level and pay
Don’t got for lower level…it will take atleast 2 years to get III. If you manger is a$$ then it will take 3 years to get III. Got for III and both II and III along with seniors in the team are doing same work!
Since I'm pivoting - wanted to kinda start from a lower level and learn/grow/perform as opposed to not meeting expectations at a higher level, which mostly experienced PMs join at
Is the team and scope diff? If it’s same team and manager, I’d go higher. If the same HM already willing to let you join at a higher level, then it means that you can manager expectations once you arrive. (Perhaps if you think the HM is a jerk, then you’d want to consider aiming lower first)
