I knew it is shallow AF, but still feels good to see the result of hard work ( and lots of luck)
Congratulations king! Thinking of retiring?
seems low for yoe
Tell us your story?
Yeah, share journey dude, what do we do with your nw no.
Nothing dramatic. Worked for tier 2 companies most of my career but in important roles. Chose role and skill over a top tier company. A boglehead, so no flashy investments. We live within our means- spend on things we really care about but know when to pull back. More than anything else I count my blessings as my peak earning power coincided with a bull market
Congratulations, OP! Keep up the great work. TC: 105K
What app is it from?
Is it family NW or just yours?
Family NW. My wife has been a homemaker for the last decade so the growth in assets is primarily fueled by my income. She has played a key role in keeping expenses in check and shoring up the bottom line :)
She kept your expenses low. The childcare, if you have kids, is crazy.
What was your NW at 40 and 35? I am wondering how it grew over the years. TC will be useful as well
Congrats! Is the house paid for? If not, you should consider not counting the amount that is still due in the NW. Just to be conservative.
I have a small amount left. I’m taking the delta.
congrats op, would you mind to share to networth progression? i wonder when adding an million became fast.. and how long does it take from 3.5 mil to 7 mil?
1 million 10 years ago. 3 million 5 years ago. Compounding obviously helps. Also living through a bull market and likely peak earning potential helps
thanks op, that is a huge achievement from 3 to 7 in 5 years, what is your household earning from 3 to 7 mil? i would assume it would take much longer time if the earning is 500k right?
Breadkdown ?
2M for my primary residence. Rest in investments- mainly index funds
Great job, Which app do you use for investing on index funds?
