Justin Winery

winery name: Justin Winery -tasting experience: 8/10, probably the fanciest winery located in paso robles. simply put, it looks like a menlo park mansion retrofitted for a wine tasting. the interior has a clean, simple design thats also bright and open to take advantage of the beautiful scenery. think sunny vineyards, rolling hills and lots of outdoor seating. Known for their red blends, including isosceles, reserve & justification wines, Justin is ur everyday weekday wine that can still deliver that full bodied cab taste. they masterfully blended cab, cab franc & merlot to create a delicious, smooth red called β€˜Isosceles’ the main differentiator of paso wineries to napa/sonoma is that they serve full course meals directly at the winery. u can easily spend up to 2-3 hours where the chef will prepare courses that complement the offered tastings. just 2 years ago, the restaurant won 1 michelin ⭐️ so expect pricier entries/full course menus. tbh we visited prior to their ⭐️ designation & thot their wine was more memorable than their food but we’ll give it another try. -tasting $: $49, for their estate, current release tasting, $85 for cave tour, $120 for barrel tasting & finally $250(!) for ebike/tasting tour. actually sounds fun but $$$. someone from nvidia plz try & let us kno :) -reservations: Yes, via tock, at least 2 weeks in advance recommended, especially if u plan to have lunch. -membership: 9/10, 4/6/12 allocation shipped 2x per yr, $400 minimum spend. u can choose red only, mix of white/red or throw in their reserve for additional $$. includes 20% discount & comped tasting. if ur frequenting whole foods for a quick wine pickup or need a housewarming gift for a friend ect, justin is a good option from value, & price point $40-$100 range -revisit: Yes, gotta check out their restaurant again and time to re-stock on isosceles :)
