While my husband was in hospital, he was fired.
Whether it's some vacation or another exceptional purchase I'm sitting in average (including housing) at 9-10k/month. Single. Enjoying life, but nothing too crazy. How much are you spending all things considered? TC 450k
OP is planning to never retire with a monthly burn rate like that already just as a single person
I still save about 100k every year, but agreed I do need to improve
Math doesn't math. How do you spend 120k a year and only save 100k on 450k incoming? Still got a good 50-75k+ post tax, and that's assuming your top spending.
12k for 4 persons family
10k for 4 people in Seattle Eastside area
lol I thought I was spending too much at 6k a month (single). What's your car payment like OP?
500/month. Problem is flights and Airbnbs, average 2-2.5k/month
I bet you it’s more than what you expect it to be.
Family of 4 spending 6k About 1.5k in day care will drop off in a couple months. I'm very excited
Burn rate about 30k / month which seems ridiculous when I write that!
15k total spending, family of 3 7k renting house in HCOL, 1.5 daycare, 1.5k grocery, $350 car finance loan, 5k mix of traveling, hobbies and outings, traveling 3 times per year
14k total spending in MCOL with family of 4. HHI is $410k. Mortgage is 8k included in monthly spending.
That's a heck of a mortgage for MCOL, but lroce of everything is getting out of whack
My expenses for family of 3 average out to 9400 per month
You are spending too much as a single man if you don’t own a home.
Dating ain't cheap, but I agree
