Roblox is a video game, it's valuation is way too high (and don't even get me started with the "metaverse")
There are few video games with 50 million MAU…. Video games are one of the stickiest and low-risk softwares, as people will always need a form of cheap entertainment. If Roblox can somehow have more utility and better retention, it’s a better, more sustainable form of social media.

The daily active users in Latin America and Europe are not dumb enough to buy robocks. They have better education system. 😆
In Latin America kids probably have less money to spend on such games, but they definitely use Roblox mostly playing free games.
Yeah you should see kids in India buying robucks. Everyone likes free sure. And that’s fine because it creates a network affect and brings in those who do spend.
Roblox is only for children. Eventually the users grow up and leave. I played their games for a few months and didn’t spend any penny. It was fun tho.
The whole idea behind Roblox's current hype is that they actively engage 50 million kids/teenagers daily, who would continue to stick to the same platform when they become adults with more spending power. Has there been one social platform apart from Youtube that managed to hold onto its main demographic once they age out of it ? FB? Snap? Twitter? Roblox might very well emulate YT but it is an extremely tall order unless they pivot like FB. Stock will continue to remain volatile until Metaverse FOMO is a thing. There is already a platform for Roblox demographic when they age out. It's called Steam (by Valve) and has couple of magnitudes more quality content.
