My 401K has a brokerage link(Fidelity). I wanted to buy US bills or some other fixed income investments like CDs. This type of account doesn’t allow these investments. Anyone know any investments that are somewhat closer to CDs or US Tbills that can give me guaranteed 4% or so. It’s funny that the plan allows me to buy direxion 3X nonsense but doesn’t allow safe investments like CDs.
Buy a fidelity money market fund.
Or switch the core position to Fidelity Government Cash Reserves. Should pay around 5%.
Money market or t-bill ETF
Call fidelity and ask whether your plan allows in-service rollover to an IRA
$bil
You can probably buy mutual funds that only invest in treasuries. For instance FUMBX.
