If I buy 4Mil worth of options for one of the tech stocks.. will it get disclosed anywhere that could result in my identify being revealed as an individual investor? Using fidelity.. Might sound stupid but exploring the idea.. I recall someone bought 3M worth in 2020 for tesla and it came in MarketWatch newsfeed.. but it was an investment firm.. Tc 390k ——- Edit —— A lot of ppl messaged me asking what I will trade or if I can advise to them as they lost money! First, I did mention that I got lucky with tesla and I really don’t want to give anyone any advise on what to buy as I don’t day trade but rather few trades in a year. Second, 4M is a lot of money.. here is what I was thinking.. buying a SPX2027 call.. something for that was trading at 40k/pop .. 4M/40k is around 100 contracts.. is that big? Nope.. Something similar in oct 2022 crash came down to 28k/pop and then went to 140k.. do the math.. ——

Helpful to know.. thanks
^ only if you win, btw. Because that would be suspicious.
How did you get the balls to trade $4M on a 400K TC? Are you betting the whole farm
In a single transaction? Won't that move the market? Options aren't that liquid on most individual stocks.
You will get a shit deal if you place 4m at once or even within a week on option with similar strikes and expirations. Citadel will eat $10 off the price with such flow. Buy over 2 weeks, no market orders and hedge with atleast 100k in the opposite direction.

I know which one you’re thinking about, cause I’m thinking about it too 🤪
What's the stock ticker you are thinking about?
Share the ticker. I'll buy puts.
you can’t buy them all in one go if trading is thin anyway
👀
This is exactly how I made $1M
