Do tech companies specify contract roles on jobs site
Could the same role be FTE through Spotify’s jobs page, and also a contract gig through outside recruiter? Are contractor roles always filled by 3rd party recruiters, or are some of the jobs on Spotify’s jobs page (or FB’s) sometimes contractor gigs that aren’t specified in the posting? I’m looking at a marketing role at Spotify, and the posting on Spotify.com, LinkedIn, and all the other jobs sites didn’t specify contractor. A 3rd party recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn quoting the same position name saying it’s a 3-4 month contract. I’m chatting with an old coworker who works there now in account mgmt in a couple days to ask for a referral, but don’t want to ask if it’s not an FTE position even with an internal referral #spotify
