Now I know some butthurt Vietnamese nationalist is going to jump in here and point out all of the minute differences between Vietnam and China and make up some non-differences. But let's be honest, not only is Vietnam the most China-like country in the world but in almost every way, Vietnam is almost the same as China. And there is this look and feel and vibe of Vietnam that is just so Chinese. To be clear, I recognize that Vietnam is an independent country and Vietnamese language is not related to Chinese, but you can't deny how this country is arguably more Chinese than an actual Chinese majority nation like Singapore. Ironically, Vietnam is actually more similar to China than Hong Kong and Taiwan which are actually a part of China (ok some people might dispute on Taiwan but that's not the point here). Vietnam is certainly more Chinese-like than some of the minority parts of China like Tibet or Xinjiang or even Yunnan. Just why Vietnam is so so so much of a China lookalike when the country is fiercely nationalistic and defines its nationalism by hating on China is a mystery.
Did you tell chat gpt to write this in the voice of Trump?
If China didn’t try to invade Vietnam for the 1000th time they wouldn’t have hated it so much
wdym? We brought culture and civilization to ancient Viet name, and they were as proud as Japanese being part of the greater Chinese culture circle, until France took over.
I get why Vietnam hates China: both history and the fact that Vietnam doesn't have a lot else to builda country on. But why be so similar to something that you hate?
Because Vietnam was colonized by China for 1000 years
I mean it's not colonization when it's 1000 years. Besides, it was just a regular province of China I believe.
So if you do colonialism long enough it isn't colonialism anymore? What is the cutoff? 100 years, 200 years, 300, 400...?
You just kept repeating that they're like China without giving a single reason why.
They don't need to give a reason why it's a Chinese psyops account. I saw them post like an hour ago how most Vietnamese words originated in China.
They're probably hinting that Vietnam is an inalienable part of China according to the CCP and will be invaded after Taiwan
No, Vietnam beat the French, Japanese, and Americans. They're nothing like China.
Because Vietnam and China are both run by communists.
The Vietnamese didn’t deliberately murder millions of their own people in peacetime like Mao and the CCP did though.
They would have been democratic country if the US didn't screw them over by backing the French to retake their country after they beat the Japanese. Ho Chi Minh was literally inspired by the US founding father and the minute men fighting for the independence.
I see it’s 12pm in Shanghai, don’t you mainland agitators even take a lunch break? Ffs
It’s absolutely disgusting we hire these CCP agents at American tech companies. I guess the cheating from 1.3acres is enough to get them across the border

Go back to college and re learn everything in the writing class ffs, learn to back up your argument with evidence, how is Vietnam like China, how is it more Chinese than HK and Taiwan?
Not everything needs evidence. OP posted his firsthand observation. He is the evidence, even if weak and unreliable.
