Air Suvidha self-declaration - How to edit the seat number?

Hey all. Travelling from Canada to India soon. Filled up the self-declaration form, entered “00” for seat number. How do I edit it after check-in? The portal says “Passenger shall be responsible to self edit the SDF and provide the correct seat number before boarding the aircraft.”. Does self-edit mean, I should edit my copy of the pdf, and do nothing on the portal itself? Or should I submit another application with the seat number? And wtf is “SDF”? Thanks in advance! #travel

Doesn’t matter. I traveled late last year and had my seat number changed at the last minute. As long as you have the form filled and negative rt pcr, seat number does not matter.

It doesn’t really matter. Nobody even checked properly in Delhi. Was asked to hold up the print out in hand to show it to a person behind a glass cubicle. Much ado about nothing

LMAO. This is so Indian. Going back after 5 years. I’m ready for a culture shock.

Yesterday, at hyderabad just cross checked if I filled or not( soft copy) they are not worried about any thing. Again you have fill almost same details in physical form which will be given by aircraft. They don’t even care for that. You can edit your seat online but you need to fill and upload all the details again they don’t remember any information on edit

Ahhh. Gotcha. I’ll just re-submit the application when I get my seat number..

That's another useless piece of document that Indian bureaucracy demands. No one really cares about the seat number as seat numbers can change anytime upto the boarding. You can fill anything! Just give a random seat#
