HSA contribution limits
First time in the US investment system. I contribute to HSA via my employer. I see two limits in fidelity. 1. Individual limits are over by $200 2. The family limit has a $3.5k amount left I am under the impression that I overcontributed as an individual but what is the family limit? I file as jointly and my wife doesn't work or contribute to the account. Can I still keep contributing to the HSA or should I stop?
If your wife is covered by your HDHP plan, and she is not covered by any other non-HDHP plan, then yes you can continue contributing up to the family limit.
this depends on your insurance plan whether including your family or not
