Planning to sell my rsu’s and looking for investment advice. I spoke with personal capital, Morgan stanley and charles and fidelity for private client fees. And most of them are charging from 0.89% to 1% in fees on average value of your portfolio. Given i will be investing around 2m the yearly fees is going to be around 18k. Is it worth going with them? How do you manage your portfolios? I am not a good trader and have no experience in investing. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Tc 350k

🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ Sorry but you’re basically at the poverty line. No financial advisors. Learn about investing, that’s your number one job, even before software engineering
Any suggestions where to start to learn abt it
Open a brokerage account (all of them are good now, I personally recommend Schwab) start slow but learn by doing it. Don’t get lost in the theory of it like so many vtsax sheeple do. Avoid Bogleheads. Supplement your experience with reading later on. Just park your money in good companies who are changing the world and be patient
Just put it on vanguard target date funds and enjoy life. For .1% expense ratio there will do everything.
All in on AMC/GME if you want gains
No fuck paying some college grad who knows as much as some person reading a finance book. Invest in mostly large etfs and some bets like amd, Amazon, the good tech stocks. Set and forget.

Open a brokerage account like Charles schwab (there are many others including vanguard and fidelity), then invest in ETFs, you can start with VTI. Read this for a primer of a simple strategy https://www.bogleheads.org/wiki/Three-fund_portfolio
