Fidelity employees - please help!!!

Hi, got an offer from Fidelity india for L5 role software engineer in india, about to sign the offer, the tc offered is ₹25 LPA which is good for me, but I came across Code of ethics for personal trading and investments, according to which I cant trade or invest actively and also need to submit all my brokers statements to them. Any fidelity employee can here tell me how seriously is this taken? What if i am a active trader and investor, will they stop me from doing it? Please help here any fidelity employees please #fidelityinvestments #fidelity #fidelityportfolio

Former Fidelity employee here. You'll get fired if you breach any rules. You can trade but need to submit all your statements quarterly. You can't ever place short trades and there are a few more restrictions. But you can always do it through your family members' account as long as you don't list them as a dependent

Thank u for replying bro. This really helps. They have mentioned that they will ask for statements of me and my family members. I trade actively in index derivatives (nifty and bank nifty), i have a younger sister who is still in college, can i trade in her account and not list her as a dependent, any suggestions you can give , will be very helpful. Also, will they object on whatever trades I have already done prior to joining them? Thank u again for ur response

The older ones won't matter. You only have to show statements of dependents. Like if you get insurance cover for your family members, all those members will be listed as dependents and their statements will have to be shown. But if they aren't, you can use their accounts to trade. Also, what is your yoe? And what are they asking these days? Is it still hackerrank and java/ spring specific questions? What is the interview process like?
