I am planning to move away from Morgan Stanley. The portal seem to very old and doesn't have much information. I also use fidelity for long term investments and Robinhood for daily trading kind of stuff. I like fidelity but don't want to put all eggs in one basket (150K in fidelity) and (275K in MorganStnely). Any recommendations? #personalfinance #investments
TD and Interactive Brokers have great trading platforms.
Interactive Brokers
I use Schwab. Their investor checking accounts are solid, especially if you travel internationally (no atm fees anywhere in any currency). Customer service is very good, and I like their low/ no fee brokerage services. App isn’t super great, but the desktop research tools are pretty good, and if I need something slicker then I’ll just look something up on the eTrade account I have from work and then trade with Schwab. They are currently in the process of integrating TD Ameritrade (which they acquired), so in my view it’s only a matter of time until the Think or Swim type tools roll out to all Schwab clients.
Vanguard is not great but trustworthy if your main concern is finding a good basket for the eggs.
